Beneficiary update: Ashraya

Collective Heart has been providing financial support to Ashraya School and Orphanage in Bangalore for the last four years. Around 370 students are educated at the School and 70 of these children live at the Orphanage. As the pandemic set in it has presented Ashraya with new challenges and reduced funding. 

In the attached video, Matt chats with Deepa, an Australian woman working with the Ashraya team, who shares how Ashraya is navigating these incredibly challenging times and how the funds we provide have brought some much needed peace of mind, allowing them to pay bills and supplement the children's rice and lentil diet with much needed nutrition from fruits and vegetables. In the eyes of the children and the Ashraya team, the Collective Heart group are 'angels sent by god' and they are so deeply grateful for the support and love we send their way.
