2018 has been declared the “year of activity”. We’ll still be giving away cash month to month. In addition, we’ll be giving an extra bit of encouragement to engage in some local activity.
Even before our first breakfast of the year some of our members had the joy of helping the Hunter Branch of Disabled Surfers Association do their thing at Caves Beach.
This year we ventured to King Edward Park for our Christmas Party. The weather was amazing as was the entertainment thanks to the very talented Sarah Dockrill and her gifted musical friends, Tom and Alberta.
Our third year of providing gift hampers to some of the members of the refugee community. This year we provided hampers to 24 families many from Syria but also other countries including Ethiopia.
